Our name, Focus On Bamboo, reflects our dedication to the use of new and exciting products made from the bamboo plant. Recently we became aware of the many benefits of working with this plant. Its fiber can be made into bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath mats, bathrobes, shirts, pants, bed sheets, pillowcases and blankets. In addition other uses of bamboo are as hardwood flooring, floor coverings and sophisticated (not only rattan) furniture. At present we will offer bamboo fiber textiles only. In the future we hope to make available a large range of bamboo products. We believe that super absorbent bamboo fiber textiles with their luxurious high quality fabric will enhance one’s lifestyle. Our 100% bamboo fiber bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, bathrobes and blankets are superior to competing cotton and bamboo cotton blended products. They are antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial, resistant to mold and mildew, softer, silkier, and much more absorbent, dry faster and last longer. The ecological benefits of bamboo are many. Growing it requires no chemical fertilizer, pesticides or herbicides. It grows rapidly, as much as 4 feet in a 24 hour period. Newly planted bamboo will be ready to harvest within 3 – 4 years. Extremely strong, it has the tensile strength of steel. The plant is 100% biodegradable, it is a renewable resource.
